If the back-to-school checklist still has one box left, tonight is a good night to check it. Baptist Health is giving free immunizations for school-aged children this evening at Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church, 9921 AR-107 in Sherwood, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The Sherwood stop is part of a free clinic series Baptist Health's Community Outreach team has been running across Central Arkansas all summer. After tonight, four dates remain:
- Saturday, Aug. 8 — Martin Street Youth Center, 201 W. Martin St., Jacksonville, noon to 3 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 10 — Baptist Health Community Outreach, 10117 Kanis Road, Little Rock, noon to 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 11 — Mosaic Church of Central Arkansas, 6221 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 14 — Baptist Health Community Outreach, 10117 Kanis Road, Little Rock, 1 to 6 p.m.
One thing to bring: your child's previous shot records. Baptist Health asks for them at every stop, and they matter most for kids whose earlier immunizations happened outside Arkansas.
